FAQs

Daycare

How old does my dog need to be in order to attend daycare?

Dogs must be at least 6 months old in order to attend daycare.

Does my dog need to be spayed/neutered in order to attend daycare?

We do require that all dogs are spayed or neutered before starting daycare.

Do you provide daycare on the weekends?

No, we do NOT have daycare service on the weekends. We are open for daycare from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Can I see the entire daycare space?

For the safety of our daycare dogs and staff, we are unable to bring clients into the daycare. The introduction of a "stranger" into an otherwise predictable space creates unnecessary arousal, which could lead to dangerous reactivity among the dogs. Much of our outdoor space, however, is visible from our driveway and office windows.

What is your interview process for new dogs?

On your scheduled first day, we ask that you arrive between 7 - 7:30 am so that your dog can greet all of our current daycare dogs one at a time instead off all at once. New dogs should stay until at least noon so that they have time to decompress and get acclimated with our facility and staff, however they are welcome to stay longer if needed. At the end of their trial day, one of our managers will give you a detailed rundown of your dog's day along with any recommendations for future daycare visits.

Do I need to schedule daycare visits in advance after my dog's first day?

No. After a successful trial day, you do not need to schedule future daycare visits.

Boarding

Does my dog have to come to daycare in order to board?

Yes. In order to board with us, we require that your dog be a current daycare attendee. Because we are a crate free facility, it is imperative that all boarding dogs are acquainted and get along with one another.

Are the dogs crated overnight?

No. Unless requested by an owner, all of our boarding dogs sleep freely in the same area on beds and blankets with one of our overnight attendants. The only time we separate dogs is during feedings.

What do I need to bring when my dog boards?

All we need is your dog's food and any medication they take. We provide beds, bowls, and blankets for all boarding dogs. We do not allow personal beds or blankets, as they are at risk for getting damaged or soiled.

Is daycare included when my dog boards?

Yes. Boarding dogs will spend the day in the daycare and then transfer to the boarding building in the evening. There is no extra daycare charge for boarding dogs, except on their departure date. The daycare fee for departing dogs will be waived as long as you pick up your dog before noon.
